# If two or more informants are available to complete the ABCL, should they collaborate in completing a single form, or should they independently complete separate forms?

Answer: Each informant should independently complete a separate form to reflect his/her own views of the adult. Collaboration by multiple informants may obscure variations in functioning that would be reflected in forms completed independently by each informant.
