# What if a respondent endorses two different items when his/her comments indicate that the endorsements of both items refer to exactly the same problem?

Answer: Score only the item that most specifically describes the problem. For example, if the respondent endorsed item 74. Showing off or clowning and also endorsed item 84. Strange behavior, describing the behavior as “always clowning,” only the score for item 74 should be counted.
