How do the profiles differ from the 1997 young adult editions?
Answer: Chapter 2 describes the current profiles in detail. Briefly, the main innovations include (a) the age span on the profiles has been changed to 18-59; (b) the borderline clinical range for adaptive scales now spans T scores 31 to 35 (3rd to 7th percentiles); (c) the borderline clinical range for syndrome and substance use scales now spans T scores 65 to 69 (93rd to 97th percentiles); (d) the syndrome scales have been revised; and (e) DSM-oriented and Critical Items scales have been added.
