Technical Support for ASEBA® Software Products
What if only the pre-2001 editions are available in translations of a particular language?
Answer: As documented in the Manual for the ASEBA School-Age Forms & Profiles (Achenbach & Rescorla, 2001), six problem items were completely changed from the 1991 to the 2001 editions of the CBCL and YSR, while three problem items were completely changed on the TRF. The Module for Ages 6-18 with Multicultural Options enables you to enter ratings from the 1991 editions and upgrades your entries to be recognized as 2001 versions. They are then scored in terms of T scores and percentiles based on norms for your choice of Group 1, 2, or 3 societies. The Module codes the 1991 versions of the six CBCL and YSR items and three TRF items that were changed as missing data.
