In daycare and preschool settings, who should be asked to fill out the C-TRF on a particular child?

Answer: Staff members who have the most experience with the child over the longest periods are the best candidates. Because completion of the C-TRF requires no special training, it can be completed by assistants and trainees, as well as by experienced personnel.  Because different staff members may have different samples and views of the child’s behavior, it is desirable to have as many staff as possible complete separate C-TRFs for the child.
