New in v4.4.2.0: Dictionaries
Many of our users have asked for a better means to manage form-level entries that are shared between forms. In v4.4.2.0, we have created a dictionary structure for the following fields:
- Clinician
- Agency
- School
- Form Custom Field One (formerly “User-Defined Field 1”)
- Form Custom Field Two (formerly “User-Defined Field 2”)
In addition, we have converted informant message templates to a dictionary structure. For the form-level fields, users with “Administrator” access can manage the dictionary entries via the “Administration” menu:
Each dictionary has fields that can be added or edited:
The dictionary fields are available on the “Add Form” and “Edit Form” screens:
For existing ASEBA-Web™ accounts, we have already gone ahead and converted the old text-based entries to the new dictionaries for you. We recommend you go into the dictionaries and review and edit them to take advantage of the new fields available with each dictionary entry.
Future releases of ASEBA-Web™ will take advantage of the availability of these new dictionary fields. One feature under development will grant users the ability to send emails to the clinician when forms have been completed instead of just to the form contact.
