How is item 113 on the CBCL and TRF figured in the total score?
< 1 min read
Answer: On item 113, if the respondent enters a problem that is not clearly covered by another item, obtain the Total Problems score by adding the 1 or 2 scored by the respondents to the sum of 1s and 2s for all other items. If the respondent enters more than one additional problem on item 113, count only the problem that received the highest score. For example, if a respondent circles 1 for one problem in item 113 and circles 2 for another problem in item 113, add 2 to the Total Problems score. (Adding a maximum of 2 points for item 113 is intended to limit the amount of variance contributed by problems that are not stated for other respondents to rate.)
