Can hand-scoring be made quicker and easier?

Answer: We offer scoring templates that fit over the forms to indicate the syndrome and DSM-oriented scales on which the problem items are scored. The time taken to score profiles usually decreases with experience. However, we recommend using our Ages 18-59 module (preschool, school age, or older adult age module are available as well) to computer score the forms whenever possible, as this is quicker and more accurate. The Module enables users to edit data and it stores scores for subsequent analysis, as well as printing paper profiles whenever desired. In addition, the Module displays comparisons of item scores, scale scores, and cross-informant correlations for up to 8 forms per adult.
