I forgot my ASEBA-PC password; how do I reset it?

To reset your ASEBA-PC password, please click the “I forgot my password” link under the Sign In tab on the login screen.

If the link is missing (very old ASEBA-PC programs do not have the link), please send an email to techsupp@aseba.org and a new ASEBA-PC installer will be emailed. Once the new installer is installed, the “I forgot my password” link will be visible.
If a pop-up window appears that asks for an administrative username and password, the computer login does not have administrative rights. The user will need to contact their own IT department and ask them for elevated rights to finish the password reset function.

If the user does have administrative rights and is asked if they want to allow changes to this app, click Yes.

ASEBA-PC 2023 Password Reset Tool window will open. Click Next.

Click Delete All Users (this does not delete any data, just user information).

The ASEBA-PC program will be set back to default login credentials of user name: admin and password: Password77. Click Close.

Click on the ASEBA-PC program icon on the desktop to open the program again. Type in admin as the user name and Password77 for the password. Click Sign In.

The PLEASE CHOOSE A NEW PASSWORD window will open. Type in admin for the username, Password77 for the Current Password, and then a new password that is ten characters long with one capital letter. Confirm the new password. Read the EULA agreement if desired, and click Change.

Login with admin as the username and the newly created password.
