On item 113. Please write in any problems the child has that were not listed above, what should be done if a respondent describes a problem that is specified elsewhere on the problem list?

Answer: Score the item only where it is most precisely specified on the problem list, whether or not the respondent has scored it there as well as in item 113.  For example, if a parent wrote “very jealous of younger sister,” and socred it 2 for item 113, only item 27.  Easily jealous should be scored 2, rather than item 113, whether or not the parent had also scored item 27.
