Should the LDS be used if a language other than English is spoken in the home?
< 1 min read
Answer: Parents who can read English can complete the LDS by circling any word the child says in English. For words the child says in another language, the parent can add a letter next to the English version of the word denoting the child’s other language. (For example, the parent can write an “S” next “dog” to indicate that the child uses the Spanish word “perro”). We also offer a Spanish version of the CBCL/1.5-5 and LDS.
