Technical Support for ASEBA® Software Products
Which version of the software should I get?
You have a few options.
1. ASEBA-PC requires at least Windows 7, 8,10, or 11. It can only be run on a single machine per license, though multiple people can use that machine. Licenses are sold by age group, but there is also a full-set option that gives you access to all age groups. Typically, ASEBA-PC requires informants to fill out paper forms prior to key entry. These forms are available in our online store.
2. ASEBA-Web is a browser-based version of our program that can be accessed from any PC or Mac computer with a modern, up-to-date web browser (we suggest either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox). It works on a system of e-units. Each form costs a total of two e-units for key entry and scoring; additional e-units can be purchased here: http://store.aseba.org/ASEBA-Web-Products/products/24/2. A major advantage of ASEBA-Web is that it provides informants access to a site where they can fill out the forms themselves. This may save you considerable time and prevent data entry errors since you won’t have to key-enter the forms one by one. Additionally, ASEBA-Web gives you access to form protocols from all age groups. A demo for ASEBA-Web is available here: https://aseba.org/aseba-web-demo/.
3. ASEBA-Network runs on a server on your network. Multiple people can access it simultaneously from any computer on the network with a modern, up-to-date web browser. Similar to ASEBA-PC, you must buy access to specific age groups or purchase a “full set” license to get access to all age groups. Typically, ASEBA-Network requires informants to fill out paper forms prior to key entry. These forms are available in our online store. Please carefully review the installation requirements here: http://aseba-network.aseba.org/.
