I forgot my ASEBA-PC password; how do I reset it?

To reset your ASEBA-PC password, please click the “I forgot my password” link on the login screen. There is a video offering more information here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XI-9MELTbqs23.

If you do not see that link, please send an email to techsupp@aseba.org

and we will send you our updated program installer. Once the new installer is installed on your computer, you should then see the “I forgot my password” link the next time you open the program.

Once you have clicked on "I forgot my password" link, and if you do not see the window below, please minimize the program, as the reset password window sometimes opens up behind the program.

If a pop-up window appears that asks for an administrative username and password, your login on your computer does not have administrative rights, so you will need to contact your own IT department and ask them to elevate your rights, so that you can continue to reset the password on this program

Then, click Next.

You will then see this window. This does not delete data, just users that you can recreate. Click on Delete All Users

You will see a window that tells you that your password has been reset and to log in with admin as the username and Password77 as the password. On the next screen please still use admin as the username and Password77 as the password, then choose a new password; it has to be 10 characters long with a capital letter, a lowercase letter, and a number. Check off the EULA agreement box and click Change.

You can now log in with username admin and your new password.

We highly recommend that you add another administrative user account, so you have another way to get into the program and you can reset your own password for your original account and vice versa.
